Our Services
-
Initial Visit: During your initial visits, you will work with your provider to discuss your health goals, review your health history and create a treatment plan to address your concerns.
Follow-Up Visits: During your follow-up visits, you will speak with your provider about changes in your symptoms and can make adjustments to your treatment plan. You will also have more time to relax during treatment as you will not need to review your health history.
If Acupuncture is not covered by your insurance plan, Thistle & Thorne offers various treatment packages to keep your treatments as accessible as possible.
-
Herbal Medicine is an option for patients who cannot make all of their recommended appointments, prefer herbal medicine to pharmaceutical intervention, or need extra support between treatments. All herbs are third-party tested and your herbal formula is customized to fit you by licensed and board-certified herbalists.
-
The goal of Thistle & Thorne is to empower you in your health goals. We take all aspects of you into account and provide various recommendations to assist you in achieving your health goals.
-
Telehealth appointments are available for patients who have already had their Initial Visit. Telehealth appointments are used to discuss your lifestyle changes or adjustments to your herbal formula, which might not require an office visit.
How We Treat
The “Fix It Now” Phase
This treatment strategy is designed for acute issues, such as an active migraine, acute injury, menstrual cramping, a flare of a chronic illness or pain, or the onset of a cold or illness. The “fix it now” method typically requires multiple treatments within a few days, focusing on rapidly reducing symptoms when they arise.
The Active Care Phase
This phase is for treatment of more chronic conditions, such as hormonal imbalances, chronic pain or injuries, fertility treatments, which may require a more regular, long-term treatment strategy to retrain and balance your system. Treatments are less frequent as the “fix it now” phase, usually about 1-2 times per week.
The Maintenance Phase
Once we have met your goals and brought your system back into balance, it is important to maintain your health with regular, monthly visits. These visits help to prevent symptoms from returning, and act as a relaxing “tune-up” for your preventative care.
