What We Treat

One of the biggest misconceptions about acupuncture is that it only treats pain or muscular issues. While it is exceptional effective at reducing pain, it also has centuries of successfully treating more complex diseases, from fertility to adjacent cancer care. Seeing a licensed acupuncturist can be especially beneficial if you are experiencing symptoms and have not found relief from pharmaceuticals, or answers from lab work or other examinations.

Pain & Injury Recovery

Acupuncture has been proven effective for treating a variety of pain, from acute injuries to fibromyalgia and pain caused by long-standing issues. T&T works with pro athletes, marathoners and helped manage chronic pain.

Mental Health Support

The mind and body are consistently sending signals to each other. By regulating the symptoms the body is experiencing, we can calm the symptoms of anxiety, insomnia, depression, and overthinking and the effects of high stress.

Gynecological Health & Fertility

Thistle & Thorne helps to address menstrual and hormonal issues, including PCOS, irregular cycles, menstrual pain and PMS. We also work with both parents through the processes of IVF, IUI, and natural conception.

Pregnancy and Post-Partum Care

We work closely with you throughout your pregnancy, adjusting care as your body changes. We are also partners with Partum Care, which specializes in parental health.

Migraines

Thistle & Thorne works with migraines of all kinds, reducing the pain and symptoms during an active migraine and the overall frequency of migraines. We track your triggers to understand and reset your migraine pattern.

Colds and Allergies

Acupuncture has a strong effect on the immune system, making it effective at addressing colds, flus, and allergy symptoms. Treatments, especially during the sick season can be beneficial at reducing frequency and intensity of illness.
